About Howie’s Blinds & Shutters in Myrtle Beach, SC
About Howie – Howard Brand was born into the window treatment business. As a child, his mother and father owned and operated a window treatment business, Brand Custom Draperies, in Northern Virginia. Howie gained valuable experience as a teenager helping his father, Ron, with installations. He continued to develop his expertise over the next few years.
Years of Experience Installing Blinds and Shutters in SC
Howie was hired by a large firm in South Florida and moved there in 1985. During the next 11 years, he gained insight into the new trends in the window treatment industry. Plantation shutters, wood blinds and shades had arrived!!
In 1996, he returned to the Virginia area and started his business, Howie’s Blinds & Shutters LLC. In 2005, he moved his family to Chambersburg, PA, where he operated his business in the Tri-State of PA, MD & WV.
Howie migrated South in 2018. Today he continues helping families and businesses decorate windows in their homes and offices. He specializes in affordable, quality, brand name plantation shutters, blinds and shades. He provides professional installation.
